Prof Valerie Brunton leads the Cancer Therapeutics group at the Institute of Genetics & Cancer, University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on understanding the role of adhesion proteins, including Kindlin-1, in tumor progression through interaction with the tumor microenvironment.
