Dr. Mauricio Torres Pradilla is a highly trained dermatologist with a robust academic background. He holds a degree in Medicine and Dermatology from the Foundation University of Health Sciences (FUCS) in Bogotá, Colombia. He further specialized with a Master’s in Advanced Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. In addition, he completed a Master’s in University Teaching at FUCS.

Currently, Dr. Torres is the Director of the Dermatology Postgraduate Program at FUCS and serves as a Professor of Pediatric Dermatology both at FUCS and Universidad del Bosque. His clinical and academic expertise is internationally recognized, and he is an active member of multiple prestigious organizations including the Society of Pediatric Dermatology, Asocolderma, the Colombian Association of Pediatric Dermatology (ACDP), the Ibero-Latin American College of Dermatology (CILAD), the European Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology (ISPD).

Dr. Torres is also a consultant dermatologist at EB-clinet, Debra International, and Debra Colombia, contributing his expertise to the care and management of epidermolysis bullosa.
