Professor Liat Samuelov received her MD degree from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. She specialized in Dermatology at the Tel Aviv Medical Center. She completed a fellowship focusing on hair follicle research at the University of Lübeck, Germany. Following her residency, she pursued a research fellowship at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship at Lurie Children’s Hospital, Chicago.
Currently, she is the Chair of the Division of Dermatology and the Pediatric Dermatology Unit at Tel Aviv Medical Center, where she also runs the multidisciplinary epidermolysis bullosa (EB) clinic. She holds an Associate Professor position at the Gray Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences at Tel Aviv University.
Professor Samuelov has co-authored 70 scientific publications and several book chapters. Her clinical and basic research focuses on the genetics of skin diseases, atopic dermatitis, and pediatric dermatology.
