Prof Mellerio if a consultant dermatologist and honorary professor of paediatric dermatology at St John's Institue of Dermatology, London, UK where she is lead for the adult EB service. She also worked previously as the dermatologist to the paediatric EB service at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. She has 3 decades experience working in EB, both clinically, and in basic and clinical research.
