Dr Inês Sequeira, Group Leader and Associate Professor at Queen Mary University of London, has dedicated her research career to studying skin and oral epithelia homeostasis, wound healing and cancer. She is also a co-coordinator of the Human Cell Atlas Oral and Craniofacial Network, where they use state-of-art computational tools and single cell transcriptomics and spatial proteomics and transcriptomics to dissect the molecular and cellular heterogeneity of the oral tissues in health and disease.
