Gudrun Salamon is the head of the HEALTH Lab | Competence Center for Medical and Health Psychology at the Sigmund Freud University Vienna, Austria. Her research focuses on understanding and improving the quality of life of healthy people and people with health restrictions, with a particular emphasis on rare and chronic diseases. For the past 7 years, she has been doing research on the diverse psychosocial aspects of a life with epidermolysis bullosa. In her practice, she supports individuals along their personal journey towards a better quality of life.
