Bio
Elizabeth (Nicki) Bush is Executive Director and Global Head of Endpoint Strategy and COA Measurement at OPEN Health, where she advises on endpoint strategy, clinical outcome assessment (COA) development and validation, study design, and health authority interactions.
Nicki has held research and leadership positions in the patient-centered measurement field in both consultancy and industry. In her 15 years at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine and Eli Lilly and Company, she led teams focused on development and implementation of robust health outcomes and measurement strategies incorporating the perspectives of regulators, HTA/payer bodies, healthcare providers, and—most importantly—patients. She has presented and published extensively on measurement and drug development and serves as a subject matter expert.
Ms. Bush earned her master’s degree in infectious disease epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and her BA in the liberal arts (philosophy and history of mathematics and science) from St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD.
