I studied cellular and molecular biology at the University of Catania (Italy), where I also obtained my PhD. Since 2016, I have conducted research on recessive dystrophic EB at the Genodermatosis Unit of Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital in Rome, with the aim of counteracting disease-associated fibrosis.
